Washington: The World Bank Group has approved $1 billion in financing to support Egypt’s efforts to boost private sector-led job creation, strengthen macroeconomic and fiscal resilience, and advance its transition to a more sustainable economy.
Egypt has implemented a series of reforms that helped the country move to a stage of stability.
وبناءً على هذه الجهود، يدعم برنامج تمويل سياسات التنمية “توليد المرونة والفرص والرفاه من أجل مصر مزدهرة II” (GROWTH II) مجموعة من السياسات الرامية إلى مساعدة الاقتصاد المصري على خلق المزيد من فرص العمل الأفضل، وإدارة المالية العامة بشكل أكثر استدامة، والتحرك نحو مسار نمو أكثر استدامة.
The newly approved DPF program is aligned with the World Bank Group’s Country Partnership Framework for Egypt for the fiscal period 2023-2027, which aims to support Egypt’s efforts in promoting green, sustainable, and inclusive development by enabling more and better job opportunities in the private sector, improving human capital outcomes, and enhancing resilience to shocks.
