Definitions

• Platform: Egypt Factories website (egyptfactories.com) and its related applications.
• user: Every person who uses the platform, whether a visitor or a registered person.
• Factory owner: The company or individual registered as a manufacturer or company on the platform.
• Trader/Importer: User searching for products or suppliers.
• Profile: The detailed page of the factory or company on the platform.
• Content: All data, images and text added on the platform.

Registration conditions

The following are required to register on the platform:

• ✅ The registrant must be an adult natural person (18 years or older) or a recognized legal entity.
• ✅ Provide correct and accurate data when registering.
• ✅ Maintain the confidentiality of login data and do not share it.
• ✅ Immediately report any unauthorized use of the account.
• ✅ Do not create more than one account for the same establishment.
• ❌ It is prohibited to record fake or misleading data.

Factory data requirements

The factory owner is obligated to provide the following data accurately and correctly:

Export and import requirements

Based on Egyptian foreign trade laws, a factory wishing to register as an exporter or importer on the platform is required to do the following:

🏷️ Requirements of the Foreign Trade Development Agency (TEPA):

• Registration in the register of exporters and importers with the General Authority for Export and Import Control.
• Obtaining an export card approved by the competent authorities.
• Compliance with the requirements of the destination country in terms of certificates of conformity and origin.
• Providing a Certificate of Origin for export products.

📋 Labeling and packing requirements for export:

• State the country of origin (Made in Egypt) on the product and packaging.
• Adherence to packaging standards for target markets.
• Providing posters in the languages ​​required in the targeted countries.

Rules of use

All users are prohibited from:

• ❌ Publishing false or misleading information about the facility or products.
• ❌ Impersonating another company or person.
• ❌ Using the platform for illegal purposes or in violation of Egyptian law.
• ❌ Sending annoying messages (Spam) through the correspondence system.
• ❌ Trying to hack the platform or affect its performance.
• ❌ Posting content that is offensive or conflicts with public morals.
• ❌ Copy or republish platform content without prior written permission.

Content and Intellectual Property

• 📌 The factory owner retains the ownership rights to the content he uploads to the platform.
• 📌 By publishing on the platform, the user grants the platform a non-exclusive license to display and distribute his content.
• 📌 All platform trademarks and designs are protected under intellectual property laws.
• 📌 The platform has the right to delete any violating content without prior notice.
• 📌 Uploaded images must be original or licensed for commercial use.

Subscriptions and payments

• 🆓 Free package: Available to all registered users and includes a basic profile.
• 💳 Paid packages: paid monthly or annually and not refundable after starting use.
• 📅 The subscription is automatically renewed unless canceled 3 days before the renewal date.
• ⚠️ In case of non-payment, the package will be automatically reduced to the free package.
• 🔄 The platform has the right to amend package prices with 30 days’ notice to users.

Limitation of liability

It is always recommended to verify the identity of the other party and obtain official contracts before any business dealing.

Termination of membership

• 📌 The user has the right to cancel his account at any time through the control panel.
• 📌 The platform has the right to suspend or cancel any account that violates these conditions immediately.
• 📌 When the account is cancelled, personal data will be deleted within 30 days in accordance with the privacy policy.
• 📌 Some data remains reserved for legal purposes in accordance with Egyptian law.

Regulating law and dispute resolution

• ⚖️ These terms are subject to the provisions of Egyptian law.
• ⚖️ Egyptian courts are competent to adjudicate any disputes arising from the use of the platform.
• ⚖️ In the event of a dispute, it is preferable to resort to an amicable settlement first by communicating with our team.
