Egypt is preparing to offer four industrial wastewater treatment plants to local and foreign investors, within weeks, to implement them under the public-private partnership (PPP) system, according to what the head of the Private Sector Participation Unit at the Ministry of Finance, Ater Hanoura, said.
Hannoura estimated the total investments of the four stations, which are intended to be established in the governorates of Giza, Alexandria, Port Said, and Beheira, at about $150 million.
